About Mission of The Sacred Heart of Jesus
Sacred Heart of Jesus Chinese Parish is a Catholic community in Plano serving in Chinese and English. Rev. Vincent Lin is listed as pastor. The community was established as a permanent Chinese Catholic community in 1990, purchased a building in Richardson in 1992, and completed renovations by the end of 1993. A new multi-purpose building was blessed and inaugurated on January 15, 2006, and the church was elevated from a mission to a canonically erected parish about six months later. Worship follows the Catholic liturgical tradition, with Sunday Mass in English and weekday Masses throughout the week.
