What to Expect: A First-Time Visitor's Guide to Mt. Olive Church of Plano

Welcome to Mt. Olive Church of Plano! We're excited to have you visit and experience the warmth and community of our church. Here's what you can expect as a first-time visitor:

Dress Code: At Mt. Olive, we have a casual and welcoming atmosphere. You'll see people dressed in a wide range of attire, from suits and dresses to jeans and t-shirts. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable. Come as you are - our focus is on welcoming you, not your wardrobe.

Service Format: Our Sunday morning worship service starts at 9:00 AM. The service typically lasts around 1-1.5 hours and includes:

- Uplifting worship music led by our praise team - A inspiring message from our pastor, Pastor Sam Fenceroy - Time for prayer and reflection - Announcements about upcoming church events and ministries

We also have a Wednesday night midweek service at 7:00 PM that includes prayer, Bible study, and fellowship.

Tips for Visitors: - Arrive a few minutes early to get settled and find a seat. Ushers are available to help you find your way. - Feel free to participate in the worship and prayer as you're comfortable. You're welcome to sing, stand, or sit as you prefer. - Don't worry about giving an offering - we don't pass a plate, but you're welcome to contribute online or in the offering box as you feel led. - After the service, stop by the Welcome Center to say hello and pick up a welcome packet. The staff would love to meet you and answer any questions. - Stick around for coffee and refreshments in the fellowship hall to get to know some of the other attendees.
