About Waypoint Church
Waypoint Church in Richmond, Texas, is a Baptist congregation formed through the merger of two existing churches. Water’s Edge Community Church and Bethel Bible Fellowship helped birth Waypoint after months of prayerful deliberation. The church describes this step as a choice of obedience over convenience, bringing the two congregations together in a shared work and identity. Its story is rooted in that merger and the conviction that the churches were being led to move forward together.
