About St Anthony's Violet Catholic
St. Anthony’s Violet Catholic in Robstown is a Catholic parish with roots dating to 1908, when its first chapel was built on the same site as the current church. A church was built in 1914 where the school now stands, and the parish’s first baptism and wedding were held that year. Missionary Sisters of the Most Pure Virgin Mary began teaching religious education classes in 1916. Since 1990, priests from the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity have served the parish. Parish life has included the establishment of an adoration chapel, and the former social service building was renovated into a youth center in 2004.
