About Christian Science Church
The Christian Science Church in San Angelo, Texas is a branch of The Mother Church in Boston, Massachusetts, founded on the teachings of Christ Jesus and the spiritual interpretation of the Bible through Christian Science as discovered by Mary Baker Eddy. The congregation gathers for Sunday services at 10 a.m. and Wednesday testimony meetings at 7:30 p.m., where two readers conduct services based on weekly Bible lessons addressing topics such as God, Christ Jesus, Man, and Love. Rather than having a personal pastor, the church's pastors are the King James Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. Childcare is provided during all services, and online access via Zoom is available for those unable to attend in person. Christian Scientists worldwide strive to follow Christ's example of spiritual healing and to understand their relationship to a loving God and one another.
