About St Paul Presbyterian Church
St. Paul Presbyterian Church in San Angelo has deep roots in the community, tracing its origins back to 1881 when interested persons organized the Concho Presbyterian Church. The congregation is intentionally diverse and socially active, dedicated to transforming San Angelo and the wider world by living the love of Jesus. Founded on the theological conviction that all people are God's beloved children—accepted and celebrated regardless of race, orientation, history, or any other human trait—the church has a strong history of community service, including establishing educational programs, supporting the Palmer Drug Abuse Program, and resettling refugees. The modern church building, erected in 1968 at 11 North Park Street, features a distinctive 30-foot black steel cross and serves as a gathering place not only for worship but also for more than 30 local nonprofit organizations. Sunday worship takes place at 10:00 am, with opportunities for coffee, conversation, and adult Sunday school earlier in the morning.
