About St Francis Of Assisi Catholic Church
St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church is a Catholic parish in San Antonio with traditional worship and Masses throughout the week. The parish formed in 1980 after Archbishop Patrick Flores authorized its formation in December 1979, and its first Mass was celebrated at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. The current worship space was dedicated in October 2001. Fr. Tony Vilano has served as pastor since June 2016. Parish life includes children’s ministry, youth group, and small groups, with a Sunday Spanish Mass added to serve the growing Hispanic population.
