About The Pentecostal Church
The Pentecostal Church in San Benito is a Spirit-filled congregation founded in 1990 with a mission of restoration and healing. Rooted in the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI) and the Apostolic faith of the book of Acts, the church has grown from five people meeting in a converted liquor store to a thriving community that now serves members across the entire Rio Grande Valley, including families from Harlingen, Brownsville, and beyond. The church is known for its expressive, Spirit-led worship with live music and congregational singing, warm hospitality toward visitors, and ministries for all ages from infants to seniors. Under the leadership of Pastor J.C. Milligan, the congregation reflects the multicultural character of the Rio Grande Valley, with services available in both English and Spanish, and welcomes people from all backgrounds to experience God's transformative power.

Dress Code: Casual — come dressed however you feel most comfortable, with no formal dress code expected. Service Format: Sunday worship at 11:00 a.m. features a live band, congregational singing, and expressive Spirit-led worship designed for encountering God; Sunday classes begin at 10:00 a.m. for all ages including children and teens; midweek Bible study meets Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Visitor Tips: A member of the church team will meet you at the front entrance, introduce you around, and help you navigate the building; Spanish translation is available at all services, and ASL interpretation is available upon request; children are fully welcomed in services, and children's Sunday School provides a safe, supervised environment during the 10:00 a.m. class time.
