First Baptist Church in Slaton, Texas has served the community since its establishment in 1911, when six charter members gathered to organize the congregation under the leadership of Rev. Thomas. Over more than a century, the church has grown and evolved, adding educational facilities, a modern activity center, and a beautifully renovated auditorium completed in 2009.
