Northside Missionary Baptist Church in Snyder, Texas, is a welcoming American Baptist congregation with deep roots in its community since 1962. Founded by Reverend Cleothus Montgomery and four Christian men who began by studying God's Word together, the church has grown significantly over six decades, moving through four different buildings before purchasing its current home in February 2000. The church describes itself as a place "where everybody is somebody and Jesus Christ is Lord," emphasizing spiritual growth, community involvement, and inclusive fellowship. Under sustained pastoral leadership, NMBC became an active spiritual, political, and academic force in the Snyder area.
