About Churches Touching Lives-Christ
Churches Touching Lives for Christ (CTLC) is an evangelical cooperative ministry founded in 1994 by seven local churches to serve the Temple community. Based at 702 West Avenue G, CTLC is supported by over 30 area churches, businesses, and social service organizations working together to meet food and clothing needs in East Bell County. The ministry operates a food pantry distributing groceries to more than 2,000 low-income households monthly, a clothing ministry offering free gently used items, and specialized programs including weekend nutrition support for food-insecure students and backpack assistance for children. Staffed entirely by volunteers, CTLC serves nearly 300 families weekly and has aided over 44,000 clients and their dependents since its inception, emphasizing spiritual encouragement alongside practical assistance.
