About Tyler Gospel Chapel
Tyler Gospel Chapel is rooted in the spiritual pattern of the early church described in the Book of Acts, with an emphasis on community, righteous living, and the leading of the Holy Spirit. The church held its first service on February 2, 1975, in a rented truck garage known as “The Blue Barn,” and its first service in the current building was held on February 2, 1977. Bryan Jacobe has served as pastor since 2022, following John Kennedy’s service as senior pastor. The church has also been involved in rebuilding efforts in Haiti, including the Delmas 9 project.
