About Evergreen Baptist Church
Evergreen Baptist Church is a Baptist congregation in Waco with a stated emphasis on the local New Testament church as a visible, organized body of born-again baptized believers. Its doctrine includes believer’s baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper as ordinances. The church identifies the offices of Pastor and Deacon, held by Scripturally qualified males, and teaches that certain sign gifts, including tongues and interpretation of tongues, ceased with the completion of Scripture. It also teaches the return of Jesus Christ and a literal 1,000-year kingdom.
