The Heavenly Food Pantry at First Congregational Church in Essex Junction, Vermont has been providing food support to the community since 1998. Staffed entirely by volunteers, the pantry distributes around 80,000 pounds of food annually to approximately 90 families each month.
First-Time Visitor Info for Heavenly Food Pantry - Food Distribution Center
When visiting the Heavenly Food Pantry, there is no dress code. The pantry is open on the 2nd Monday of the month from 5:30-7:30 pm and the 4th Thursday of the month from 3-6 pm (with exceptions in November and December). To receive food, you'll need to bring proof of address and identification. Volunteers will guide you through the process to ensure you leave with an average of over 80 pounds of food. New volunteers are always welcome to help with this important community service.
