About St James Episcopal Church
St. James Episcopal Church in Woodstock, Vermont has served the community since its founding in 1827 as a parish of the Diocese of Vermont and the worldwide Anglican Communion. The current building, constructed in 1907 with additions in 1927, welcomes a diverse parish community united in their mission to feed people emotionally, spiritually, and physically. The church offers two Sunday services, Sunday School for children ages three to twelve, adult education programs throughout the year, and various ministry teams and community activities including the historic Church Fair held each July since 1922. St. James embraces all people in their worship and community life, including same-sex couples, and actively engages in outreach and service within the Woodstock area and beyond.
