About Assembly Of Turkish American
The Assembly of Turkish American Associations (ATAA) is a non-faith-based, community-focused organization representing over 50 local chapters of Turkish Americans across the United States. Established in 1979, ATAA serves as an umbrella organization dedicated to fostering cohesion and cooperation among Turkish American communities while promoting understanding of Turkish culture and strengthening U.S.-Türkiye relations. The organization undertakes educational seminars, annual conferences on contemporary political and social issues, and cultural events celebrating Turkish traditions, art, and heritage. Open to people of diverse backgrounds, ATAA works to create an informed and empowered Turkish American community and serves as a bridge between local Turkish American associations and advocacy efforts in the nation's capital.
