About Saint Louis Catholic Church
Saint Louis Catholic Church in Alexandria, Virginia has deep roots in the local community, tracing its origins back to 1925 when a former schoolhouse was converted into a Catholic chapel. The parish has grown significantly over the past century, now serving hundreds of families with a full parish school and multiple weekend Mass times in English and Spanish. Under the pastoral leadership of Father Keith O'Hare and his team of priests, Saint Louis welcomes visitors to experience Catholic worship in a warm, community-focused environment. The parish emphasizes both vertical union with God through traditional liturgy and horizontal union through various ministries, including men's and women's groups, youth programs, and social gatherings like their own coffee shop. With perpetual adoration available and multiple daily Mass options, Saint Louis offers both contemplative and participatory ways to deepen one's faith.
