About Church of Christ
Church of Christ in Altavista is a traditional Church of Christ congregation established on September 26, 1950. The church expresses its mission as living in such a way that those who know its members, but do not know God, will come to know God because they know them. Its life and outreach are shaped by the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20 and by the message, “Here we enter to worship, & leave to serve!” The congregation gathers for Sunday worship at 11:00 AM and offers a youth group.
