About Suck Spring Baptist Church
Suck Spring Baptist Church, located in the beautiful countryside of Bedford County at the foot of the Peaks of Otter, is a family of believers established in 1805 and named after geographic features in the region. The church exists to bring glory to God by proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ and emphasizing the growth and maturity of each believer through biblical teaching and preaching. With a present sanctuary dedicated around 1868, the church has served the community for over two centuries and welcomes visitors with friendly and caring members who are excited about God's work through their fellowship. Pastor Michael Cox has faithfully led the congregation since 2007, guiding a church committed to teaching biblical principles that show believers how to love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength.
