Northside Presbyterian Church has served the Blacksburg community for over seventy-five years with a commitment to welcoming all people and reflecting the love of God through inclusion and diversity. Led by Rev. Dr. Linda J. Dickerson, the church gathers for Sunday worship at 10 a.m., where services follow the Service for the Lord's Day and are characterized by music, prayer, and scripture in a welcoming atmosphere. Visitors are invited to come as they are, with worship spaces featuring chairs rather than pews and a casual dress environment. Beyond worship, Northside engages in mission work both locally and globally, operates a Monday Night Supper drive-up service offering free meals, and maintains an active Garden of Remembrance. The church embraces earth care practices and organizes itself around service to others, welcoming all to walk together on their faith journey regardless of background or where they stand in their spiritual walk.
