About Bland Ministry Center
Bland Ministry Center is a multi-faceted Christian social ministry founded in 1980 by the East River Baptist Association to serve the physical and spiritual needs of people in the Appalachian region. Operating as both a ministry center and dental clinic, the organization strives to be a missionary point of service for all Christians, churches, and organizations by providing compassionate assistance and fulfilling Christ's Great Commission. The center welcomes all visitors with a commitment to treating everyone who seeks assistance with compassion, dignity, and respect, drawing inspiration from Matthew 25:40. Beyond local volunteers, the center hosts mission teams from across the country who come to serve alongside staff and volunteers.
