About Western Fairfax Christian
Western Fairfax Christian Ministries is a community-based organization serving qualified individuals and families in western Fairfax County experiencing food insecurity and financial hardship. Founded in 1987 by volunteers from 12 churches who recognized the need for coordinated aid, WFCM provides emergency food assistance through two free food markets, satellite refrigerators, home delivery services, and emergency housing financial support including rent, mortgage, and utility assistance. The organization serves an average of 700 families monthly across nine zip codes including Chantilly, Centreville, Clifton, Fairfax, Fairfax Station, Herndon, and Oak Hill. Through partnerships with local businesses, nonprofits, and volunteer organizations, WFCM demonstrates the gospel through practical support and compassionate service to those at risk of hunger and homelessness. The ministry welcomes individuals and families of all backgrounds and beliefs to access their essential resources.
