About Covenant Church
Covenant Church is a Reformed Baptist congregation located in Chesapeake, Virginia, committed to biblical faithfulness and doctrinal clarity. The church holds to the inerrancy of Scripture as its sole infallible rule for faith and practice, embracing reformed and baptistic convictions within a confessional framework. Sunday worship begins at 10:30 am, preceded by Sunday School at 9:00 am, with an additional evening service at 5:00 pm (except the first Sunday of each month), alongside midweek home groups. The congregation emphasizes corporate worship centered on Christ, including Scripture reading, prayer, psalm and hymn singing, and expositional preaching, with the Lord's Table observed on rotating Sundays. Beyond worship, Covenant Church maintains a vision of missionary engagement at home and abroad, reflecting a desire for members to live out their faith faithfully in their vocations and communities.
