About First Presbyterian Church
First Presbyterian Church in Hampton is a dynamic and welcoming Christian community that has served the area since 1879, when twelve people were first accepted into membership. Located at the corner of Armistead and Victoria since 1952, the church draws congregants from all walks of life—engineers, teachers, physicians, carpenters, and stay-at-home parents—who use their talents in faithful service. The church offers both casual and traditional worship experiences, maintains strong youth and children's ministries, and emphasizes meaningful relationships with God, each other, and the broader community. First Presbyterian is deeply committed to putting faith into action through hands-on service and partnerships addressing hunger, homelessness, disaster relief, and community development locally and globally.
