About First United Methodist Church Hampton
First United Methodist Church Hampton is located in historic downtown Hampton, Virginia, with congregational roots dating back to 1789. Its sanctuary has stood for more than 130 years. Sunday mornings include conversation and refreshments at 8:30 a.m., Sunday School at 9:00 a.m., and traditional worship at 10:00 a.m., also livestreamed on YouTube. The church offers children’s ministry, youth group, small groups, nursery care for infants through age 3 starting at 9:45 a.m., a one-room Sunday school for ages 3-12, and several adult Sunday School classes.
