Pilgrim Journey Baptist Church, located in Henrico, Virginia, has served its community since 1887 when a group of neighbors began meeting for Sunday school and Bible study. The church was officially established in 1892 on land donated by Elijah Hall and has grown into a vibrant congregation centered on Christian education, spiritual development, and evangelism. Through its history, including two devastating fires that tested the faith of its members, the church has remained committed to worship, fellowship, and service. Today, Pilgrim Journey offers Sunday school, regular worship services, Bible studies throughout the week, and specialized ministries including a women's Bible study and the Elm Tree Ministry. The church emphasizes living together in love and faith while extending God's promise through spiritual development, education, service, and community fellowship.
