Forest Community Fellowship Church of the Nazarene is a welcoming community of believers located in Forest, Virginia, with deep historical roots in the area where Thomas Jefferson spent summers in 1801 and 1802. The church represents a recent merger of two congregations—Forest Community Church (The Kirk), established in 1984, and Forest Family Fellowship, founded in 2003—that came together in fall 2024 to strengthen their shared mission of discipleship and community service. Led by Pastor Jeff Whitt and his wife Jill, the church emphasizes connecting, learning, and growing together in faith while serving their local community, region, and the world. Worship services blend contemporary and traditional music reflecting the Gospel message, and the church maintains the Church of the Nazarene's global commitment to sharing Christ's message of hope and peace.
