About Timberlake Baptist Church
Timberlake Baptist Church has been a vital part of the central Virginia community for over 80 years, serving the Lynchburg area with a commitment to proclaiming Christ and making His Word clear. The church offers two identical Sunday morning worship services at 9:00 am and 10:40 am, designed to make God look bigger through Scripture reading, God-focused music, and expository preaching. Beyond worship, Timberlake provides numerous Sunday School classes for all ages, from infants through seniors, as well as specialized ministries for children, students, adults, and families. The church is affiliated with The Expositors Seminary and also operates Timberlake Christian School, reflecting its deep investment in Christian education. Visitors will find parking lot attendants and greeters on campus to assist with directions, and a Welcome Center inside the Ministry Center with campus maps and class information.
