Leeds Episcopal Church in Markham, Virginia, has served its community since 1769, when it was established by the Virginia House of Burgesses and named after Leeds Castle in England. Led by Rector Angela Lerena since November 2023, the church welcomes all people—those with much faith and those with little, longtime members and newcomers alike—to experience Jesus' inclusive table. The congregation gathers for two distinct Sunday services: an 8 a.m. contemplative Eucharist with traditional language and silent meditation, and a 10:30 a.m. festive Eucharist featuring contemporary language, choir-led music, and family-friendly participation.
