Greater Grace Ministries is a Non-Denominational church located in Norfolk, Virginia, founded in May 1998 by Pastor George Chavis and Co-Pastor Domergue Chavis in Suffolk before relocating to Norfolk in April 2009. The church's vision centers on building lives through the teaching of God's Word and making disciples for Christ. Led by Senior Pastor George Chavis, who flows in the prophetic and preaches with God's authority, the congregation benefits from a team of dedicated associate pastors including Kenny and Sylvia Boone, Terri and Linda Gilchrist, and Calvin and Carla Oglesby. Greater Grace Ministries maintains multiple active ministries including jail and prison outreach, prayer initiatives held monthly, praise and worship, hospitality, and visitation to the sick and shut-in, reflecting a commitment to serving both the congregation and broader community.
