Reachout Center Thrift Store is part of Regenesis, a Christ-centered nonprofit organization founded in 2008 by Pastor Gary McReynolds to serve the Petersburg, Virginia community. The thrift store operates as a vital component of a larger mission addressing addiction, homelessness, and poverty through residential recovery programs, outreach ministries, and community services. All proceeds from the thrift store support Regenesis's nine-month personal development recovery program for men and women, as well as Hannah's Home for expectant mothers and mothers with babies. The organization has grown to operate multiple homes, a food ministry, a coffee shop, and additional thrift locations throughout the region. Visitors to the thrift store support these transformative ministries while shopping for quality donated goods in a welcoming community space.
