About Providence United Methodist
Providence United Methodist Church is a historic New Kent County congregation with roots dating back to at least 1833, dedicated to love, service, and community. The church currently worships in a sanctuary built in 1938 and welcomes visitors with ample parking, including designated visitor and handicapped spaces. Sunday worship begins at 10 a.m. and alternates weekly between traditional services in the Sanctuary featuring a choir anthem and modern services in the Fellowship Hall with a worship team. Sunday School classes for children and adults meet at 9 a.m., and a nursery is available for children ages 5 and under during worship. Under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Linda Crabbs, Providence UMC invites all to join in worship, whether in person at 4001 New Kent Highway or via livestream through their YouTube channel.
