About River Of Life Church
River of Life Church is a non-denominational congregation located in Ringgold, Virginia, just east of Danville on nearly fifty acres. The church traces its roots to the Jesus Movement of the 1970s and has emphasized worship and discipleship throughout its history. Led by Pastor Bill Lavinder since 2019, the church offers contemporary worship services on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. in a relational setting that welcomes visitors to come as they are. The congregation is committed to practical ministry, fellowship, and discipleship, with an emphasis on inspiration, instruction, relationships, and devotion. River of Life serves the surrounding communities including Danville and Ringgold, Virginia, as well as parts of North Carolina, and participates in Kingsway Connection, an association of churches across multiple states and Europe.
