About Baptist Friendship House
Baptist Friendship House is part of the Roanoke Valley Baptist Association, a regional network of 67 churches and 3 church-type missions serving Roanoke, Salem, and surrounding counties in Virginia. The RVBA traces its roots to August 1841, when 38 messengers from 17 churches gathered to form the association with a commitment to advancing the Gospel locally and globally. Today, the association partners with and strengthens churches to advance God's Kingdom while meeting community needs through various ministries including Friendship House, HopeTree, Keystone, the Rescue Mission, and Solomon's Mission. The RVBA holds regular spring and fall meetings that bring together churches for worship, business, and fellowship. Visitors are welcome to connect with this vibrant Baptist community dedicated to discipleship and community engagement.
