About Church Alive International
Church Alive International in Roanoke, Virginia exists to carry revival fire to the region and love people back to life. Founded in 1992 by Pastors Melvin and Evangeline West with just eleven people, the church has grown into a vibrant community committed to reaching beyond cultural, racial, and economic boundaries. Led by Pastors Carey and Vannie Harrell since 2000, Church Alive International emphasizes worship, prayer ministry, small groups, and both local and global outreach. The church relocated to its current location on Peters Creek Road in 2007 and continues to pursue effective means of touching the community and nations around the world. Visitors are welcomed into a friendly and passionate environment where they can come as they are and experience the church's life-giving mission firsthand.
