Friendship Baptist Church is an independent, fundamental Baptist congregation located in Rustburg, Virginia, approximately seven miles south of Lynchburg. Founded in the 1970s and reopened in 2008, the church was reorganized under the pastoral leadership of Rev. David Critcher beginning in 2009. The church is committed to preaching God's Word for the salvation of sinners and the spiritual encouragement of believers, using the King James Version of the Bible exclusively and maintaining a traditional hymn-based worship style that includes choral and special music.
