Feeding Southwest Virginia is a food bank ministry serving 26 counties and nine cities across the Southwest Virginia region. Since 1981, the organization has been addressing food insecurity and hunger in the communities it serves, distributing nearly 20 million pounds of food annually through a network of over 320 feeding programs. With 1 in 7 neighbors in Southwest Virginia facing food insecurity, the ministry works to ensure that no one goes hungry. Operating as a member of both the Feeding America national organization and the Federation of Virginia Food Banks, Feeding Southwest Virginia combines local impact with statewide and national efforts to reduce hunger. The organization welcomes donors, volunteers, and community partners to join in its mission to empower neighbors for healthy, strong lives.
