About Saluda Baptist Church
Saluda Baptist Church, located in Saluda, Virginia, traces its roots back to 1842 when Clark's Neck Meeting House was constituted as a Baptist church. The congregation relocated to its present site in 1878 and adopted the name Saluda Baptist Church in 1938. The current sanctuary was completed and dedicated in 1968, with a fellowship hall added in 2001. Under the leadership of Rev. Nita May, who joined the church in October 2022, the congregation is dedicated to spreading the love and teachings of Jesus Christ to the community and beyond. Sunday services include coffee and fellowship at 9:45am, followed by Sunday School for adults, youth, and children at 10:00am, and worship service at 11:00am. The church welcomes visitors of all ages and invites the community to join in worship and fellowship.
