Saint Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Shenandoah, Virginia is the second oldest continuous Lutheran congregation in the state, having been founded in 1733. Located on Fourth Street three blocks north of downtown, this small and friendly congregation proclaims the gospel of grace using traditional liturgy and scripture. The church extends a warm invitation to visitors to receive God's gifts of grace in Christ Jesus and join them in worship. Gathered by the Spirit, the congregation grows in faith and goes in love to embrace and serve their community.
