About Children's Home of Virginia Baptist
The Baptist Center of Virginia, Inc., located in South Chesterfield, is a nonprofit organization serving historically underserved communities across Virginia and surrounding areas. Originally established as the Children's Home of Virginia Baptists, the Center operates on a 251-acre historic campus where it has served the community for over 75 years. Today, the organization provides safe, stable housing and comprehensive support for youth transitioning out of foster care, while also serving families and seniors through community programs and initiatives. The Center is actively restoring and revitalizing its campus into a thriving community hub, with ongoing renovations and upgrades to facilities and grounds. As a Baptist ministry, visitors and potential supporters are invited to join in the Center's mission to transform lives and strengthen the community through education, resources, and wraparound services.
