About Madina Islamic Center
Madina Islamic Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Islamic organization serving the Muslim community in Springfield, Virginia and the greater area. Operating from a leased facility at 6805 Backlick Rd, the center is open to everyone and affiliated with none, fostering diversity, inclusiveness, and spiritual growth. MIC has expanded significantly to offer Jummah prayers at multiple times on Fridays, five daily prayers, children's classes, Tajweed and Tafseer programs, Arabic and Fiqh classes, youth counseling, Ramadan programs, and social services. The center places particular emphasis on youth development and family engagement, viewing children and youth as the heart of the community. MIC's leadership is actively working toward acquiring a permanent facility to better serve the growing and increasingly diverse community.

Dress Code: Modest dress is customary; women typically wear headscarves and long clothing, men wear long pants and shirts. Service Format: Jummah (Friday Prayers) held at 12:30 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, and 3:30 PM, with Iqamah beginning within 15 minutes of stated times; five daily prayers also offered.
