About St. John's Episcopal Church
St. John's Episcopal Church in Suffolk, Virginia welcomes all to worship at their historic parish, which traces its roots to the founding of Jamestown over 350 years ago. The church building itself has stood for two and a half centuries, witnessing the American Revolution and the Civil War while remaining a steadfast place of worship and communion with Christ. Today, St. John's continues its tradition as a welcoming community that honors serving Christ and opening its doors to all who seek connection with God. The parish offers Sunday worship, Christian formation classes, midweek Bible study, and pastoral care, serving as both a spiritual home and a beacon of faith in the greater Suffolk community.
