Congregation Beth Chaverim is a Reform Jewish congregation in Virginia Beach, founded in 1982 by five area families and described as the city’s first Reform congregation. The congregation previously built and worshiped in a synagogue on Stoneshore Road, which it used until 2018. Today, services are held at Aviva Pembroke, with Shabbat services each Friday at 6:30 PM and a Zoom broadcast available. Once a month, the congregation gathers for a Service and Dinner, followed by dinner and drinks at a local restaurant.
