About Foundry United Methodist Church
Foundry United Methodist Church in Virginia Beach has roots dating back to January 3, 1958, when a four-and-a-half acre property was purchased to establish this Methodist congregation. The church is led by Rev. Dr. JaeHaeng Choi, whose ministerial focus centers on spiritual formation and transformation through works of piety and mercy. Foundry serves its community through multiple ministries, including a food pantry open to all visitors every Thursday morning, and hosts traditional Sunday worship alongside small groups, Bible studies, and fellowship gatherings throughout the week. The congregation seeks to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world, welcoming visitors with radical hospitality and a vision to reach out and nurture all people with the good news of Jesus Christ.
