About Orcas Island Community Church
Orcas Island Community Church has served the people of Orcas Island since 1884, when founder John Alexander Tennant and his wife Clara arrived on the island to establish a spiritual home for its diverse community. As a community church, OICC welcomes people of varied denominational, educational, economic, and ethnic backgrounds, embodying the belief that unity within diversity reflects Jesus's intentions. The congregation gathers for Sunday worship at 10:00 AM and offers numerous opportunities for deeper spiritual engagement, including prayer time at 9:00 AM, Bible studies throughout the week, and fellowship groups for men, women, and families. With over 140 years of history on the island, OICC remains committed to sharing the love of Jesus and serving all who wish to worship together, whether in person or online.
