First Ukrainian Baptist Church was established in Federal Way, Washington in the summer of 1995, beginning with forty-five members who quickly formed a vibrant community centered on worship and Christian education. The church has grown significantly over the decades, developing a rich ministry life that includes three choirs, a brass band, and string orchestra alongside active Sunday school and youth programs. From its early days meeting in rented facilities, the congregation purchased and completed their own building in 2000, which continues to serve as their worship home. The church maintains strong Ukrainian cultural roots while serving a diverse congregation, and has been instrumental in planting four additional churches from its membership. Today, First Ukrainian Baptist Church remains committed to Bible-centered teaching, community service through its charity division, and active engagement with the broader Christian community, welcoming guests and continuing to develop spiritually.
