About Evergreen Community Church
Evergreen Community Church is an independent, non-denominational, Bible-teaching church in Ferndale. Its roots go back to March 17, 1935, when it began as a Sunday school at its present location; sixteen years later, the school was incorporated as Evergreen Community Church. The congregation is about 100 to 150 attendees and gathers for worship on Sunday mornings at 10:00. Evergreen emphasizes life together through small growth groups and describes its vision as becoming a family shaped by those groups. Children’s ministry and small groups are part of the church’s regular life.
