About First Church Of God
Westview Church, originally founded as First Church of God in 1936, is a Christ-centered congregation affiliated with the Church of God Ministries of Anderson, Indiana, serving the Longview-Kelso area of Washington. The church welcomes all visitors and emphasizes a vision of Life Together, Faith Together, and Grow Together through worship, discipleship, and community service. Sunday services begin at 10:45 a.m. with Sunday School and Bible Study at 9:30 a.m., along with a Kids Good News Club for children in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. The congregation also offers weekly Bible study sessions at Westview from 6 to 7:30 p.m., a Wednesday night Kids Club, and various special events throughout the year including family gatherings, ladies' craft days, and seasonal programs. Visitors can attend in person at 2335 46th Avenue or join the livestream service on the church's Facebook page.
