About St Paul's Episcopal Church
St. Paul's Episcopal Church, established in 1865, is the oldest Episcopal church building in continuous use in Washington State and serves a welcoming, inclusive faith community in Port Townsend. The church embraces a diverse congregation of members from various religious backgrounds—including those new to faith, lifelong Episcopalians, and practitioners of other traditions—united in worship following the Anglican tradition and the Book of Common Prayer. St. Paul's mission centers on being a Christ-centered haven that celebrates diversity, proclaims God's call for peace and justice, and welcomes all to the table. The parish offers multiple worship opportunities throughout the week and maintains an active community life with various ministries, events, and fellowship activities. Recent renovations completed in 2024 improved accessibility for visitors with sight, hearing, or mobility needs. Whoever you are and wherever you find yourself on life's journey, you are welcome to worship at St. Paul's.
