About St Agnes Catholic Church
St. Agnes Catholic Church has served the Catholic community in Ritzville since 1908, when it was established on Nob Hill in southwest Ritzville. The original church building, which survived a devastating windstorm in 1904 that required its complete reconstruction, still stands at 701 W. Main Ave. as home to the New Hope Center. The current St. Agnes Catholic Church, located at 404 E. 5th Avenue, was completed and dedicated in 1965 to accommodate the growing congregation. The parish is known as a tightly-knit family grounded firmly in Catholic faith, welcoming visitors with warm hospitality and genuine fellowship in Jesus Christ. Parishioners support one another through difficult times and extend assistance to those in need, striving together to be the hands and heart of Jesus in the world.
